In celebration of Salisbury University's Centennial, we are thrilled to introduce our updated newsletter. We hope to inspire a new era of engagement at SU, share updates, stories, and events that connect you with the vibrant SU alumni community.

What was your favorite part of being a student at Salisbury?
I was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, where I met some great friends. I also really enjoyed being a supplemental instruction (SI) leader for various physics classes. I loved physics, and creating material to help others understand complex topics was a lot of fun for me. My favorite memories are the late nights spent studying and working on projects with other physics students. Career-wise, I’ve worked as an engineer on advanced aerospace projects and flight test programs. Now, I’m the chief engineer for an electric aircraft startup.

When SU community members and visitors cross Centennial Plaza, they won’t just be using a walkway; they will set foot on a physical representation of the University’s first 100 years.

The newly opened brick plaza, with a distinctive fountain visible from Camden Avenue, stands in front of the campus’ first and oldest building, Holloway Hall. It not only serves as new outdoor event space, but commemorates the SU Centennial, marking a century since the University’s official opening on September 7, 1925.
