Remember Me Glass Earns Top Prize in Fall Shore Hatchery Competition
Judges in the 25th round of Salisbury University’s Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation Shore Hatchery entrepreneurship competition were inspired by artistic celebrations of animal companions, awarding Remember Me Glass with this semester’s top funding amount: $35,000.

Making winning ad pitches for multinational companies like Perdue Farms takes practice. Just ask the competitors at this year’s Advertising Challenge, hosted by Salisbury University’s Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute (MASMI).
The Federal Reserve Cuts Policy Rate — Economics Students Predicted It
The Federal Reserve cut the federal funds rate by a quarter percentage point (25 basis points) on Wednesday (October 29th) at the conclusion of its two-day Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting, setting the target range between 3.75% and 4.00%. This policy move was precisely predicted by Salisbury University’s College Fed Challenge team on October 8th.
Eastern Shore High School Students Attend Stock Market Game Training
Eastern Shore public high school students had the opportunity to step into the world of investing through Salisbury University’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business.
Beta Alpha Psi members partnered with Beta Gamma Sigma members to volunteer for Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore. Members met at the Perdue Henson Junior Achievement Center on Friday, November 7, 2025.
The Department of Economics hosted the third event of this semester’s Brown Bag Seminar Series on November 7, 2025, featuring Dr. Yundi Lu, Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Salisbury University.
Congratulations to Top Scorers on the Fall 2025 ETS MFTB Exam
Each semester, graduating seniors take the Educational Testing Service’s (ETS) major field test in business (MFTB) as part of the capstone MGMT 492 course. The MFTB assesses students on foundational business concepts that span every discipline in the Perdue School of Business.
Accounting and Finance major secured internship with Perdue Farms where he contributed skills in financial analysis, financial projections, and creating models that perform variance analysis on those financial projections.
The Information Systems Connect Club hosted a panel on emerging technologies in the workforce, where four industry professionals shared insights on how tools like artificial intelligence, data analytics and enterprise systems are shaping today’s careers. The conversation energized students and highlighted the importance of curiosity and adaptability in a rapidly changing tech landscape.
