In celebration of Salisbury University's Centennial, we are thrilled to introduce our updated newsletter. We hope to inspire a new era of engagement at SU, share updates, stories, and events that connect you with the vibrant SU alumni community.

Centennial Alumni Spotlight

Emma Brackin '13

How did being involved in campus life and academics at Salisbury shape your journey?
I loved serving on the SOAP board from sophomore year through graduation. My first Gullfest as a volunteer, helping build the stage and meeting Jason Derulo, hooked me on event planning! Now, I’m a lead Montessori guide teaching and using leadership and organizational skills I learned on the SOAP board. Choosing Salisbury—encouraged by my dad, an alum—was the best decision I made.

SU Men's Soccer Alumni Game

Calling all Men's Soccer Alumni! Return to campus for our annual game on Saturday, August 23, at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.

Schedule:

Noon: Check-in & T-shirt pickup
1 p.m.: The Alumni Game kicks off
After Game: Refreshments

SU Women's Soccer Alumni Game

Women's Soccer Alumni - Return to campus on Saturday, August 23, at the Gerry DiBartolo Sea Gull Soccer Complex.

Schedule:

Noon: Check-in and T-shirt pickup
1 p.m.: Alumni Game (play or cheer!)
After the game: Coach Q's for a BBQ!

Get ready for Homecoming Week at Salisbury University, October 6-12! Join us for a week of celebrating.

Highlights include:

The week concludes on Saturday with our Flock Party and an exciting football game! You won't want to miss it!

Mega Reunion

Join us for Salisbury University's Reunion for the Ages on Saturday, October 11, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. This special event, celebrating the Centennial, is your chance to reconnect with alumni from all years, especially milestone reunion classes ('80, '85, '90, '95, '00, '05, '10, '15, and '20).

Enjoy appetizers and two complimentary drinks. Additional beer and wine will be available for purchase.

SU Alumni Homecoming Flock Party - October 11

Get ready to party, SU alums! 🎉 Homecoming 2025 is gonna be legendary! We're celebrating a whole Centennial of SU, so you know it's going to be a fun Flock Party! Think games, awesome attractions, beer truck, wine, and some of the best food trucks in the area. Then, let's pack the stands and cheer on our SU Football team! Join us at 11 a.m. for the fun!

SU Announces New Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Major

“It was one of the most requested majors by prospective students that we did not offer,” said Dr. Michael Scott, dean of SU’s Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology. “Demand from employers in the region for students with expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology has continued to increase, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because the faculty at SU have a long history of teaching excellence in these fields, the logical step to respond to these needs was to develop the new program.”
