SU Entrepreneurship Competitions winners presentation

Tacos Del Mar Wins 2023 SU Entrepreneurship Competitions

Judges voted the student business plan for Tacos Del Mar, a Mexican-inspired catering company, as the best out of 59 entries in the 2023 contest.

Gavin and Sara Aquino of Atlantic Portable X-Ray earned $40,000 in the 20th round of Salisbury University's Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Shore Hatchery entrepreneurship competition.

Atlantic Portable X-Ray Takes Top Prize in Spring Ratcliffe Foundation Shore Hatchery Competition

Judges in the 20th round of the Ratcliffe Shore Hatchery entrepreneurship competition recognized the void filled by Gavin and Sara Aquinos’ business, presenting it with one of the largest single-year funding amounts in the program’s history.

Spring MASMI Sales Championship Winners Announced

Some 68 students vied for top honors during the SU Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute’s (MASMI’s) ninth biannual sales championship competition. The event included two contests, one for overall sales and one for elevator pitches.

SU Announces Jensen as Executive Director of Entrepreneurship

Michael Jensen comes to SU from Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA, where he served as business instructor and director of the college’s Venture Lab. He also is president of Market Invasion, LLC, a management consulting and professional services business.

Leibowitz Named New SBDC Eastern Region Program Director

Rick Leibowitz comes to Salisbury from Oregon with more than 12 years of experience supporting small businesses as an SBDC director in six states.
