April 2024 Employee of the Month: Thomas Perry

Thomas Perry, our Manager at Chick-fil-A®, was selected as Salisbury University's Employee of the Month for April 2024! Congratulations Tom! 

 

Tom’s dedication to excellence and execution is outstanding; he truly cares about the customers and team members that he serves and leads. Tom is a guardian of the Chick-fil-A brand and Salisbury University, and it is a pleasure to work with him. He is always working to improve and grow as a leader.

    America's Romance with Processed Foods

     

    In our fast-paced world, it's no secret that we often turn to quick and easy meals. But did you know that a staggering 75% of these foods are ultra-processed? Unfortunately, consuming these foods can result in overconsumption and harmful effects on both our mood and health. Luckily, extensive research has defined these ultra-processed foods and their hyper-palatable counterparts. Now, it's up to us to take action and control our intake of these foods. Keep reading to learn more about the risks of consuming ultra-processed foods and discover practical tips to help you make healthier food choices.
