As the fall semester begins, we welcome over 450 new students, two new department chairs and one new faculty member into the Perdue School. This fall brings a number of opportunities for our students to get engaged with the business community.
Junior art major Carleigh Stokes decided to use her proximity to the beach resort of Ocean City, MD, to pursue a new hobby: surfing. That passion for catching waves would result in her winning more than $19,500 in cash and prizes.
Held at the Dave and Patsy Rommel Center for Entrepreneurship at SU Downtown, the competition featured some 13 applicants from throughout the Mid-Atlantic vying for their share of $100,000 in prize money.
Spring MASMI Sales Championship Competition Winners
Over sixty students vied for top honors during the SU Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute’s (MASMI’s) seventh biannual sales championship competition.
SU Students Participated in Global Seminar at the University of Stirling in Scotland
Over 20 SU students joined other students from around the world and took courses such as Sports Management and Global Marketing, earning upper-level business elective credits in the process.
Call for Clients – Put Our M.B.A.s to Work for Your Organization
Our M.B.A. program includes a project consulting course. This course is taught in two formats, in the classroom and online, allowing us to invite organizations to work with our students outside of the Salisbury, MD, area.
