Lectra Technologies Earns Top Prize in Spring Ratcliffe Foundation Shore Hatchery Competition

Judges in the 24th round of Salisbury University’s Philip E. and Carole R. Ratcliffe Foundation Shore Hatchery entrepreneurship competition were inspired by a son’s dedication to improving the quality of life for his mother, awarding magnetic wireless electrode kinesiology tape company Lectra Technologies, Inc. with this semester’s top funding amount: $35,000.

Five economics students—Timothy Benson, Claudio Garcia, Naomi Garcia, Ashley Panagakos, and Evan Benigni—have been awarded 2025 Summer Research Grants to pursue a collaborative research project titled “How Stagflation Risk Challenges Monetary Policy’s ‘Divine Coincidence?’” under the mentorship of faculty advisor Dr. Ying Wu.
