Trending Across Campus: April Specials

Guerrieri Academic Commons, Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company

    •

Sneaking a swipe of batter as Mom or Dad bakes a cake – then running, giggling, from the kitchen as they wave their spatula at you – is one of those small joys of childhood. If you still crave that sweet treat, you’re not alone; stop in and try our Cake Batter Fro-cho with buttery notes of vanilla topped with our house made chocolate whipped cream. Pair it with a Lemon Blossom muffin for and extra dose of Spring.

    Guerrieri Academic Commons, Hungry Minds

    • Our chipotle sauce is delicious and we 100% believe it goes on just about everything. This April we've paired this spicy, smokey, sweet sauce with our crispy chicken panini. Try just the sandwich or add a drink and side option for only $3.50 more. Add bacon for an added treat.

    Guerrieri Student Union, Cool Beans

    • Smooth and creamy matcha served with oatmilk over ice, topped with sweet and subtle floral notes of lavender cream cold foam--an unexpected combination that’s springtime in a cup. Beverage includes dairy.

    Bites from the Dietician

Can what we eat affect or mood?

A recent study concludes that changing your diet can relieve depression/anxiety and reduce stress. Students in the control group were given no instructions regarding diet and were asked to return in three weeks. At the end of the three-week intervention, results showed depression symptom scores improved from the moderately elevated range to the normal range in the Diet Change group. Learn more about the study and what changes they made to improve overall mood.
