The Human Resources Team hosted over 150 of our colleagues to celebrate their years of service. Thank you to the Creative Strategy Team for the wonderful support. 

Team Members, with service ranging from 5 to 40 years, were recognized! 

Nearly 70 Adjunct Faculty were also honored, to boot!

For enrolled employees eligible for payroll deduction, the Maryland Central Pay Bureau processes health benefit payroll deductions for 24 of the annual 26 paychecks. *

The paychecks issued on the dates below in 2025 will not have health benefit payroll deductions:

May 7, 2025 (pay period ending 4/29/2025)

August 27, 2025 (pay period ending 8/19/2025) 

Benefit Plans affected include all benefit elections through the Statewide Personnel System (SPS):

All Medical Plans

All Dental Plans

Prescription Plan

Flex Spending Accounts

State of Maryland MetLife Insurance (Life and AD&D)

*USM MetLife Long Term Disability and Life Insurance are the only plans that will have a deduction for the paychecks listed above.

Your paycheck stub is available for viewing/printing on the Payroll Online Service Center (POSC), and annual pay schedules can be found on the Payroll Services website.
