Let's Talk Onboarding!

Summer Leadership Series: Women in Leadership

Introducing the New Employee E-Packet!

Does the HR Team have a surprise for you...

We are pleased to announce the official launch of Salisbury University’s Electronic Packet (E-Packet) for New Hires, following months of dedicated development. Beginning next week, this new resource will enhance the onboarding experience for all new team members.

What is the E-Packet?

The SU E-Packet serves as a comprehensive guide for new employees, providing them with essential information at their fingertips. It is an invaluable resource that they can retain long after joining the team. Once a new employee accepts their offer, the E-Packet, along with the New Hire Checklist and relevant paperwork, will be sent to them in their Welcome Email.

The E-Packet answers questions from

where do I park on the first day to when should I expect my first paycheck!

In collaboration with Creative Services, we have designed the E-Packet to ensure that all new team members have the necessary tools and support for a successful transition at SU. It includes QR codes for easy mobile access, direct links to essential resources, and contact information for assistance.

We believe this new resource will significantly enhance the onboarding experience for all new employees. We encourage you to review the E-Packet and share any questions or feedback with Michael Taggart, Director of Employee Experience.

Thank you for your support in making this initiative a success!

Let's keep it going...

We are delighted to share the Summer Learning Series is set to continue! Following the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from our recent Women In Leadership event, we are eager to build upon that success and maintain our momentum. Your insightful suggestions have greatly influenced the direction of our next session, which will be titled "Industry Experts of Service Excellence"

In the upcoming session, we'll unite leaders from different units, highlighting their valuable skills and experiences applicable in both the university setting & the private sector.

Their versatility and expertise in their fields will shine through.

Each leader brings a unique background and individual leadership experience. This diversity will create a fun and interesting experience for everyone and promote great conversations!

Stay tuned for further details about this exciting chapter in the Human Resources Leadership Learning Series.
