What's New in MyClasses: Discussion Checkpoints

When creating graded discussions, you can now enable Discussion Checkpoints which allows for one due date to be set for an initial post and a second due date to be added for responding to peers. Additionally, you can determine how many posts students must make in reply to their peers and then allocate points based on the students' initial post and for completing the required amount of peer responses.

Quality Matters (QM) logo

The Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) three-week online workshop is QM's flagship workshop on the QM Rubric and the process of using the QM Rubric to review online courses. It is intended for a broad audience, including but not limited to faculty, instructional designers, administrators, and adjunct instructors who wish to understand more about the QM Rubric and process of course review. It is recommended for all faculty teaching an online or hybrid course in order to understand the commitment to quality of Salisbury University’s online and hybrid course offerings. The APPQMR is the prerequisite for the Quality Matters Peer Reviewer Course, which is the required course for any faculty who would like to become a QM Peer Reviewer. Participants can expect to spend at least 7-8 hours per week in this workshop to successfully complete it. Upon completing the APPQMR workshop participants will receive an official certificate of completion from the Quality Matters Program (QM).

This online workshop will run from June 3, 2025 7:00 AM to June 24, 2025 11:59 PM.
