Check your Syllabus - Updates for Fall 2025

Salisbury University has consolidated all university-wide syllabus statements and student support resources on the central SU Course-related Policies and Resources page which is updated annually. Changes for Fall 2025 include, but are not limited to:

  • Updated language for Academic Misconduct Policy

The SU Course-related Policies and Resources page is automatically added to the course menu in all MyClasses courses. Faculty should review the policies and resources page annually for changes and updates. Faculty can replace these policy and resource statements directly in their syllabus (which can reduce the length of the syllabus) by including the following statement:

Salisbury University expects that all students have read and understood all of the Course-Related University Policies and Resourcesand thereby agree to honor these standards. Important course-related policies and resources include, but are not limited to:

  • Academic Misconduct Policy
  • University Writing Across the Curriculum requirement
  • University resources such as the Academic Advising Center, SU Cares, SU Libraries, Office of Access and Accommodations, Center for Student Achievement, and University Writing Center.

These policies and procedures constitute a commitment by the faculty member to students and must be followed throughout the semester. The [INSERT ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT/UNIT] considers academic misconduct as a serious offense and ALL incidences are subject to disciplinary action including, but not limited to, separation from the University.
