The workshop will gather faculty from across SU's five schools/college to discuss ethics education, the role of ethics in their disciplines, ethical reasoning and dialogue, the application of ethics in teaching and scholarship, as well as theoretical and structural concerns that arise in thinking through ethical problems. Participants will focus specifically on implementing new approaches to ethics in their teaching: new approaches to course content and ethics-based activities, developing your own skills in ethical reasoning, and exploring new models for ethics discussion, as well as exploring how to write and adapt case studies and design ethics assessments. The workshop has a contract for implementation of your chosen activity and carries a $750 stipend. This workshop is supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities “Connections” grant and the REACH initiative. If you are interested in registering , simply fill out this survey.
