Registration is now open for the 13th Annual Teaching & Learning Conference to be held on Friday, February 17, in Perdue Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The goal of this conference is to bring together teacher-scholars from across campus to share and discuss teaching innovations and best practices. Join us in person (or virtually) for dynamic sessions led by a variety of SU’s faculty and staff. Dr. Kristen Walton, Distinguished Faculty Award recipient, will deliver the keynote presentation. A schedule is available online. Sessions cover topics such as ChatGPT, practices that support IDEAs (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility), authentic assignment and alternative grading strategies, and disciplinary strategies for supporting student ethics, critical thinking, engagement and health. Online registration ends today, Tuesday, February 14. Individuals who register online will be sent the program with session descriptions. The program also provides details on how to join sessions virtually via Zoom. In-person registration is available the day of the event in Perdue Hall Atrium. |
