ID&D will be leading a 5-Day Accessibility Challenge the week of June 9-13, 2025 (with Tuesday's session being held Monday afternoon to honor Employee Appreciation Day). Each session focuses on formatting and requirements for digital accessibility and is scheduled for a 2-hour workshop session where you will be able to learn strategies related to making text, links, images/graphics, tables, documents/forms, and audio or video content digitally accessible. We encourage you to bring your own examples to work with during the workshop. The days/topics to be covered are listed below: - Monday, June 9, 9-11 a.m.: Fonts and Formatting - Laying the Foundation for Readability.
- Monday, June 9, 1-3 p.m.: Links and Lists - Navigation and Structure.
- Wednesday, June 11, 9-11 a.m.: Alt Text, Tables and Forms - Providing Context and Applying Design Considerations.
- Thursday, June 12, 9-11 a.m.: Videos and Audio - Multimedia Accessibility.
- Friday, June 13, 9-11 a.m.: PDFs, Accessibility Checkers and Other Considerations - Validation and Inclusivity.
